Fundación Ciudadana Civio (hereinafter Civio) complies with the requirements established in Spanish Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce; in Law 56/2007, of December 28, on Measures to Promote the Information Society; as well as in Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (hereinafter LOPDGDD), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27 (“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”); and to this end has created the following Legal Notice:

This Legal Notice regulates the access and use of the web, including the contents and services made available to the Users through the web, either by Civio, by its Users, or by any third parties.

The use of the website will be subject to this Legal Notice, which may be updated periodically. However, Civio will advise of the modification of the Legal Notice or the Privacy Policy. If the User decides not to accept the Legal Notice, he/she must refrain from accessing and/or using the contents and/or services offered on the website. Civio reserves the right to improve, modify or suppress, unilaterally and without prior notice, services and/or contents of said web according to the most diverse criteria, although it will inform users about said changes.

Obligation to make proper use of the portal

The User undertakes to make proper use of the website and not to use it to engage in illegal activities or contrary to good faith and legal order (purely indicative and not exhaustive); cause damage to the physical and logical systems of the responsible party, its suppliers or third parties, to introduce or disseminate in the network computer viruses or any other physical or logical systems that are likely to cause the aforementioned damages, not to mention all those that or transgress the honor, personal or family privacy and the image of persons, property rights and any other nature belonging to a third party as a result of the transmission, dissemination, storage, provision, reception, obtaining or access to the contents or the image of third parties; the performance of acts of unfair competition and illicit publicity as a result of the transmission, dissemination, storage, availability, reception, obtaining or access to the contents; the lack of veracity, accuracy, completeness, relevance and/or timeliness of the content. The User leaves Civio, in any case, free from any claim, judicial or extrajudicial.

Intellectual and industrial property

All trademarks, trade names or any other distinctive sign are the property of Civio or its rightful owners.

The content, as well as the information object of intellectual property whose title corresponds to Civio, will be subject (unless specifically specified otherwise) to the Creative Commons “By-SA 3.0” license that appears on the main page.

Civio does not assume any responsibility for the external links that, if any, could be included in the portal, since it does not have any control over them, reason why the User accedes under his/her exclusive responsibility to the content and in the conditions of use that govern in them.

Privacy Policy

Civio protects the personal data according to the established in the Organic Law of Data Protection and the Regulation of Security Measures. The information on the protection of personal data is included in the Privacy Policy.

Duration and Termination

The web has, in principle, an indefinite duration. Civio, however, is authorized to terminate or suspend the website at any time. When reasonably possible, Civio will warn in advance of the termination or suspension of the Platform.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

These Conditions shall be governed by Spanish law. In case of any discrepancy, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid expressly renouncing any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, unless for legal imperative corresponds a different one.
