Luxturna price and financing [ES]
Currently before the National High Court
Civio requested the actual price of Luxturna in 2021, but the Ministry of Health and Novartis withheld it, citing confidentiality. After several appeals, the Transparency Council ruled in favour of Civio. In 2023, the court also found in our favour, but the judgment is not final and Novartis has appealed.

Zolgensma price and financing [ES]
Currently before the National High Court
The Ministry of Health and Novartis refused to publish the actual price of Zolgensma in 2021. The Transparency Council ruled in our favour, and in 2023, the court upheld that decision. Novartis has appealed and Civio is still fighting.

Currently before the National High Court
The Ministry of Labour went to court to uphold the decision to keep sanctions against companies that violate rights secret. We will be appearing in court to demand that such information be made public.

Source code for the Electricity Discount Rate software [ES]
Currently before the Supreme Court
The National Court has twice refused to release the source code for the BOSCO program, which dictates who benefits from the electricity discount rate, alleging security risks. An appeal to the Supreme Court is pending.

Yescarta price and financing [ES]
Currently before the National High Court
In 2024, the court ruled that the price and financing conditions of Yescarta should be made public. Gilead Sciences has appealed the ruling and we continue to oppose it in two different cases.

Guests on official flights [ES]
🏆 Won (final)
After five years of requests and trials, the Ministry of Defence disclosed to Civio the identity of passengers on official flights from 2011 to 2016, albeit incompletely. A victory for transparency that set an important precedent.

The Supreme Court ruled in favour of Civio, forcing the Court of Auditors to disclose the names of its casual employees. This is a case that bolsters transparency of advisors in other government bodies.
